Genital Warts and Staying Healthy

Written by jen157 at 5/29/2009 4:12:54 PM

People who first get diagnosed with HPV often as should freak out. But if you take care of your body and eat right if you have a strain that creates warts you may soon see fewer and fewer outbreaks.

HPV is a very common STD in the US with over a qaurter of the population infected and thousands more a day. A new vaccine was introduced to help stop the virus but it only stops the high risk strains that cause cervical cancer and not the strains that cause genital warts.  It's important to understand that HPV symptoms are the warts and they are not a seperate thing.

When your immune system is doing well your body can fight off these attacts so you end up with less out breaks. It has been proven that the better you eat and exersize the less outbreaks you'll have. Which is a good thing since going and geting them frozen or burned off is painfull and the creams without insurance can be expencive.
