Specific Conditions Treated: Abrasions

Ingredients Used: Chamomile

Description: Abrasions are superficial wounds which are caused by rubbing or chaffing of the skin. It is limited to the outer epidermis and may or may not be accompanied with bleeding. An important precaution in case one suffers with abrasions is to immediately treat the affected area with an anti septic to prevent any secondary pathogenic infections.Using a cool compress of chamomile not only relieves the symptoms of abrasions like pain and inflammation but it also restores blood supply and helps in the early healing of the wounds.

Directions For Use: Boil 1 tsp of Chamomile flowers in 500 ml of water and cool the mixture.Use the extract as a cool compress for the abrasions.The abrasions are resolved in a week.

Not To Use With: No specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment.

Side Effects: None are seen.

Expected Results: The abrasions are resolved in a week.
