Description: Acne, also known as Pimples, Zits and Breakouts is a common and chronic skin disease. It is caused by staphylococcus aureus. Acne is an inflammatory condition of the sebaceous glands and hair follicles. The lesions are usually found on the skin of the face, neck, chest, and shoulders. Nearly six out of ten young people between the ages of twelve and twenty-four suffer from some degree of acne. The aerial parts of Goldenrod (Solidago microglossa) are as effective as common antibacterials like penicillin, amoxycillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones. They work in a similar way as these antibiotic drugs. Also there is no any side effects associated with Goldenrod, it is completely safe in treating Acne. Goldenrod is also known as Solidago sp., Aaron's rod, European goldenrod and Solidago virgaurea.

Directions For Use: Make a powder of the aerial parts of Goldenrod. This powder is boiled in a cup of of water for about 10 min. Then strain and cool it. Drink this tea thrice daily for 4 days for the treatment of Acne.

Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment. Hence Goldenrod is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Acne.
