Ingredients Used: Erigeron breviscapus

Description: The blood cells are formed in the bone marrow, the pulpy mass that is seen in the centre of long bones like the humerous or femur. When the marrow cells become malignant and starts producing an excess of WBC or immature blood cells Acute granulocytic leukemia occurs. It is commonly seen in patients above the age of 45. Free radicals have been indicted as the primary cause of various malignancies. The content of flavonoids in Erigeron breviscapus extracts was significant. The antioxidant activity of Erigeron breviscapus extracts was almost two times higher than other commonly used antioxidants like Selenium and vitamin E. Ingredients present in Erigeron breviscapus extracts showed long lasting radical scavenging activity and the EPR spectra were recorded in time to follow the reaction kinetics. Erigeron breviscapus extract can be used with confidence to treat Acute granulocytic leukemia along with other conventional treatments with chemotherapeutic agents.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms of finely pulverized aerial parts of Erigeron breviscapus herb in 250 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink the Erigeron breviscapus extract twice daily for six months along with conventional treatments. The prognosis of Acute granulocytic leukemia is considerably improved in six months of treatment with Erigeron breviscapus extracts.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Erigeron breviscapus extract; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment for Acute granulocytic leukemia.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen with Erigeron breviscapus extract. Erigeron breviscapus extract can be used with confidence for treating Acute granulocytic leukemia.

Expected Results:
A significant improvement in the prognosis of Acute granulocytic leukemia was seen in six months of supplementation with Erigeron breviscapus extracts.
