Specific Conditions Treated: Acute lymphocytic leukemia

Ingredients Used: Chlorella

Description: Acute lymphocytic leukemia is characterized with an increase in malignant or abnormal cells in the bone marrow. These cells rapidly increase in number replacing the normal cells and the bone marrow stops producing healthy blood cells. The patient becomes more susceptible to infections as his immune system is compromised. Chances of hemorrhages are also increased as the natural process of blood clotting is hindered. Free radicals have been indicted as the primary cause of various malignancies. The content of flavonoids in Chlorella extracts was significant. The antioxidant activity of Chlorella extracts was almost two times higher than other commonly used antioxidants like Selenium and vitamin E. Ingredients present in Chlorella extracts showed long lasting radical scavenging activity and the EPR spectra were recorded in time to follow the reaction kinetics. Chlorella extracts can be used with confidence to treat Acute lymphocytic leukemia along with other conventional treatments with chemotherapeutic agents.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms of finely pulverized Chlorella in 250 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 15 ml of the Chlorella extracts twice daily for six months along with conventional treatments. The prognosis of Acute lymphocytic leukemia is considerably improved in six months of treatment with Chlorella extracts.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Chlorella extracts; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment for Acute lymphocytic leukemia.
