Ingredients Used: Schizandrae

Description: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a malignant (clonal) disease of the bone marrow in which early lymphoid precursors proliferate and replace the normal hematopoietic cells of the marrow. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) may be distinguished from other malignant lymphoid disorders by the immunophenotype of the cells, which is similar to B- or T-precursor cells. Free radicals have been indicted as the primary cause of various malignancies. The content of flavonoids in Schizandrae extracts was significant. The antioxidant activity of Schizandrae extracts was almost two times higher than other commonly used antioxidants like Selenium and vitamin E. Ingredients present in Schizandrae extracts showed long lasting radical scavenging activity and the EPR spectra were recorded in time to follow the reaction kinetics. Schizandrae extract can be used with confidence to treat Acute lymphoblastic leukemia along with other conventional treatments with chemotherapeutic agents.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms of finely pulverized aerial parts of Schizandrae herb in 250 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink the Schizandrae extract twice daily for six months along with conventional treatments. The prognosis of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is considerably improved in six months of treatment with Schizandrae extracts.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Schizandrae extract; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment for Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen with Schizandrae extract. Schizandrae extract can be used with confidence for treating Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Expected Results: A significant improvement in the prognosis of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia was seen in six months of supplementation with Schizandrae extracts.
