Ingredients Used: Forsythia suspensa

Description: The blood cells are formed in the bone marrow, the pulpy mass that is seen in the centre of long bones like the humerous or femur. When the marrow cells become malignant and starts producing an excess of WBC or immature blood cells Acute myelogenous leukemia occurs. It is commonly seen in patients above the age of 45. Free radicals have been indicted as the primary cause of various malignancies. The content of flavonoids in Forsythia suspensa aerial extracts was significant. The antioxidant activity of Forsythia suspensa aerial extracts was almost two times higher than other commonly used antioxidants like Selenium and vitamin E. Ingredients present in Forsythia suspensa aerial extracts showed long lasting radical scavenging activity and the EPR spectra were recorded in time to follow the reaction kinetics. Forsythia suspensa aerial extracts can be used with confidence to treat Acute myelogenous leukemia along with other conventional treatments like chemotherapeutic agents.

Directions For Use: Crush 50 Gms of Forsythia suspensa aerial parts into a fine paste. Boil this paste in 250 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 15 ml of this extract, twice daily for six months. The prognosis of Acute myelogenous leukemia is considerably improved in six months of treatment with Forsythia suspensa aerial extracts along with conventional treatment like chemotherapy.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Forsythia suspensa aerial extracts; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment for Acute myelogenous leukemia.
