Name: Albertisia Villosa

Description: Albertisia Villosa is also popularly known as the Menispermaceae. It is a sub-tropical medicinal plant. It is native to Africa. Albertisia Villosa is widely used in traditional African medicines against various diseases. Many tests are being carried out to prove the claim of it benefits. One such claim is that Albertisia Villosa root and bark are used for the treatment of malaria and other infectious diseases in traditional Congolese medicine. Researches have partly explained and supported this claim. But further research needs to be done to prove the benefits fully.
