Description: The word alcohol generally refers to ethanol. The alcohol is also called by some other names such as grain alcohol or spirits of wine. The alcohol is obtained by fermentation of sugars. It is monochrome liquid having soothing odour. For many years one of a category of alcohol known as ethanol is used as depressant.
One very good benefit associated with alcohol is that it is a very potent antiseptic applied or rubbed in the skin before injectibles. Also it is a very good preservative.
