Anal fissure is described as the tear or crack in the anal tissues. Bleeding can accompany these rectal cracks making defecation very painful. The cracks can also extend into the rectal canal. The cracks are precipitated probably by the unsupported nature of the anal wall.
Causes:
Most anal fissures are caused by faulty toilet habits, constipation, and lack of fibers in diet. Spasm in the anal could also be a prominent cause. This condition could be precipitated by the lack of blood supply to the anal sphincter and anal muscles. The veins to this region become varicosed. An ulcer is produced which cannot heal due to the lack of adequate blood supply. Anal fissures are very common in women after childbirth or during pregnancy. Anal fissures are self healing in most cases and heal in a couple of days. If the problem persists then medical intervention is required. Eating a high fiber diet, proper toilet habits and prompt evacuation of the bowels can help to get over this disease.

research I learned about Wheatgrass. And it seemed to work!
She passed through chemotherapy with ease. But was it the Wheatgrass?
And if it was, how come it was so hard to find out about it?"
