Also called: Mouth Ulcers, Canker Sores, Aphthous
Mouth ulcers are very common and can be caused by many factors. They are very painful and annoying. Usually the ulcers are caused when one's delicate mucous membrane that lines the oral cavity gets injured. Pathogenic infections make the situation worse. Another type of mouth ulcer is the canker sores. They are not contagious but can be extremely painful and can prevent the normal mastication of food.
Mouth ulcers are also known as aphtha, canker sores and aphthous.
The exact causes are not clear but immune disorders, bacteria or viral infections may be involved. Stress, fatigue, or allergies can precipitate canker sores. Constipation, disruption of the intestinal flora or immunosuppressant drugs may also cause canker sores. Most canker sores heal in a couple of days. Anti-microbial rinse can provide relief from pain and hasten healing. Stay away from spicy and acidic food to minimize irritation and erosion of the mucous membrane.

After an excessive
research I learned about Wheatgrass. And it seemed to work!
She passed through chemotherapy with ease. But was it the Wheatgrass?
And if it was, how come it was so hard to find out about it?"
