Asthma is a chronic and debilitating disease. It is caused by a hyperactivity of the body’s immune mechanism. It is still not clear how or what triggers an asthmatic attack. Normally the air is transported by the bronchi and bronchioles to the lungs. The respiratory tract is lined with mucous membrane, which helps to remove dust and pathogens from the air we breathe and also to maintain the temperature and humidity of the inhaled air. The mucous linings are very sensitive to things and can react against such substances. Some times the cells which constitute the respiratory tract react violently against perfectly innocuous substances such as pollen. The airway is constricted due to edema and the excess mucous which blocks the airway. This leads to the incidence of asthma.
Symptoms include "wheezing, coughing, chest tightness and trouble in breathing, especially early in the morning or at night or on exposure to cold weather". The symptoms of severe asthma are just like strangulation. The condition can be fatal if not treated in time.

"When my mother fell ill with cancer I wanted to find a natural solution to help with her suffering.
After an excessive
research I learned about Wheatgrass. And it seemed to work!
She passed through chemotherapy with ease. But was it the Wheatgrass?
And if it was, how come it was so hard to find out about it?"
