Description: Asthma is a disease of the lungs in which the airways become blocked or narrowed causing breathing difficulty. The airways are the tubes that carry air in and out of your lungs. This causes symptoms like wheezing (a whistling sound when you breathe), coughing, chest tightness, and trouble breathing, especially at night and in the early morning. Asthma is commonly divided into two types: allergic (extrinsic) asthma and non-allergic (intrinsic) asthma. The strong anti inflammatory action of yam]Wild Yam[/URL] is beneficial in treating Asthma. Wild Yam is also known as Dioscorea villosa.
Directions For Use: Boil 2 to 3 Wild Yam leaves in a cup of water. Strain and drink the filtrate once daily for 2 months. The symptoms of Asthma are reduced in 2 months.
Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Wild Yam in the treatment of Asthma.
Side Effects: No side effects are seen. As Wild Yam is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Asthma.
