Description: Athlete's Foot is also known as Tinea Pedis. Athlete's Foot is a fungal infection on the foot, caused by fungus called dermatophytes. These fungi live on dead cells of the skin. Medical term for athlete’s foot is Tines pedis. This infection occurs mainly between the toe fingers. It is a contagious skin infection. Itching between the toe fingers is the most common symptom of athlete’s foot. After sometimes moist and white lesions develop between the toe fingers. There may be burning sensation, blisters and inflammation. There may be pungent smell from the toe. There may be redness and scales on the toe. Boswellia dalzielii stem extracts are as effective as commonly used anti-fungal like Ketoconazole or Fluconazole in the treatment of Athlete's Foot. Boswellia dalzielii stem extracts are devoid of the side effects seen in conventional anti-fungals including loss of taste, drug interactions and hepatotoxicity.

Directions For Use: Crush Boswellia dalzielii stem bark into a fine paste using a little water or alcohol. Apply this paste on the affected site, twice daily for a week. The symptoms of Athlete's Foot, such as itching and pruritis are reduced in one or two days and complete cure is effected in a week.
