Description: Bacterial Vaginosis is a sexually transmitted disease in women caused by the misbalance in the bacterial flora of the vagina. Bacterial Vaginosis could also be caused by fungal infections. Calendula flower extract is very useful in stabilizing the vaginal flora and provide relief from pruritis. Application of vaginal douche made from calendula flower extract is very beneficial. Calendula is also known as Pot Marigold, English Marigold or Calendula officinalis.
Directions For Use: Pluck about ten flowers of calendula and remove the petals from the flowers. Boil these petals in 500 ml of water for about 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and douche the vaginal regions with calendula preparation three times daily. The symptoms of Bacterial Vaginosis are resolved immediately. Treatment is to be continued for one week. After a gap of 15 days the treatment is again repeated so that the remaining infection Bacterial Vaginosis is resolved.
Not To Use With: Should not to be used immediately after pregnancy or any other gynecological surgical procedures.
Side Effects: No side effects observed using calendula.
Expected Results: Itching and discharge is removed immediately. Complete cure from Bacterial Vaginosis is effected in 30 to 45 days using calendula.
