Ingredients Used: Marigold

Description: Bacterial Vaginosis is also known as Vaginal Diseases, Vaginal Infection and Vaginitis. Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is the most common cause of vaginal infection (vaginitis). For grammatical reasons, some people prefer to call it vaginal bacteriosis. It is not generally considered to be a sexually transmitted infection.BV is caused by an imbalance of naturally occurring bacterial flora, and should not be confused with yeast infection (candidiasis), or infection with Trichomonas vaginalis (trichomoniasis) which are not caused by bacteria. Marigold leaves are as effective as common antibacterials like penicillin, amoxycillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones. Marigold work in a similar way as these antibiotic drugs. Also there is no any side effects associated with it in the treatment of Bacterial Vaginosis. Marigold is also known as Tagetes and Mexican marigolds.

Directions For Use: A powder is formed with dried leaves of Marigold. Now 1 tsp of this powder is boiled for about 10 minutes in 1 and a 1/2 cup of water. Cool it and filter. Drink this tea thrice daily for 4 days for the treatment of Bacterial Vaginosis.

Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Marigold leaves in the treatment of Bacterial Vaginosis.

Side Effects: None are seen. As Marigold leaves are safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Bacterial Vaginosis.

Expected Results: The symptoms of Bacterial Vaginosis have shown to be resolved in 4 days of the treatment with Marigold leaves.
