Name: Basil leaves

Other Names: Ocimum tenuiflorum, Tulsi, Holy Basil

Description: Basil leaves extract has been used in ancient Indian and Arabic medicines for the treatment of fever. Basil leaves extract is very effective in lowering fever in hemorrhaging diseases like dengue. Holy Basil or Ocimum tenuiflorum extracts contain a potent anti-pyretic agent, which helps in lowering the fever.Aromatic small shrub like plant with green leaves that are considered medicinal and is used for a variety of ailments in Ayurvedic treatments. Basil leaves are also known as Ocimum tenuiflorum, Tulsi and Holy Basil.
