Ingredients Used: Guacatonga

Description: Bees and wasps inject venom by stinging unlucky people. Sometimes—especially with bees—the stinger may be left in the skin. The venom is poisonous and may cause direct injury to the human body. This injury is usually confined to the areas close to the sting or stings. Stinging incidents often occur when nesting areas of social insects are disturbed. Be observant of the area around you. If you see insects flying to and from a particular place, avoid it. Guaçatonga or Casearia sylvestris possesses antivenin properties , hence used for Bee Stings. Further Guaçatonga also possess analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, so Guaçatonga will also treat pain and inflammation associated with Bee Stings.

Directions For Use: Take some leaves of Guaçatonga or Casearia sylvestris and dry it. Now make a powder of it. Take about 1 tsp of the powder and boil in a cup of water. Filter and cool it. Now drink the extract thrice daily for 3 days. Also take a cotton swab and apply the extract on the affected area with it for thrice daily. The symptoms of Bee Stings are improved in 2 days.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Guaçatonga; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this herb to treat Bee Stings.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen with Guaçatonga while treating Bee Stings.
