Biebersteinia is a genus containing four species of herbs in the flowering plant order Sapindales. They occur in Central Asia and some nearby areas.
This genus was previously placed in Geraniaceae, but more recently, molecular phylogenetic studies have given it a basal position within Sapindales. [1] In the APG III system, it is placed in its own monogeneric family, Biebersteiniaceae.
