Description: A Blackhead which is medically termed as an open comedo, is a yellowish or blackish plug or a bump on the skin. A blackhead is defined correctly as a type of acne vulgaris. An accumulation of excess oils in the sebaceous glands is the primary cause of blackheads. The black heads consists of keratin and sebum which is secreted by the sebaceous glands. There can be secondary pathogenic infections in the affected site also. Treatment of blackheads takes time. Most treatments take several weeks to months before a noticeable change is seen. Japanese Silverberry Root extracts was as effective as common antibacterial and anti-fungal like penicillin, amoxycillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones in the treatment of Blackhead. They work in a similar way as these antibiotic drugs. Also there are no any side effects associated with Japanese Silverberry Root extracts in the treatment of Blackhead.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms of finely pulverized Japanese Silverberry Root in 500 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 15 ml of this extract thrice daily for a week. The symptoms of Blackhead are resolved in a week of treatment with Japanese Silverberry Root extracts.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Japanese Silverberry Root extracts, therefore no specific precautions need to be kept while treating Blackhead.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen since Japanese Silverberry Root extracts is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Blackhead.

Expected Results: The symptoms of Blackhead have shown to be resolved in a week of the treatment with Japanese Silverberry Root extracts.
