Blood is a fluid connective tissue which flows in the blood vessels and is concerned with the transport of oxygen and nutrients to different parts of the body. Blood loss could be caused due to bleeding caused by trauma or diseases like piles, bleeding gums or hemorrhagic disease like Dengue.
Causes:
Bleeding can be precipitated by injuries or can occur spontaneously. Spontaneous bleeding is most commonly encountered by problems with the joints or the gastrointestinal or urogenital tracts.
Symptoms of Bleeding or Blood Loss include "Shock, confusion or decreasing alertness, clammy skin, dizziness or light-headedness, low blood pressure, paleness, tachycardia, breathlessness, and weakness".
