Description: Blepharitis is an inflammation of the eyelids. Blepharitis could be caused by seborrheic dermatitis or a bacterial infection. Blepharitis could also be caused by allergies or lice infestation.
Blepharitis is precipitated by an excess of oil produced by the glands near the eyelids. This makes the environment optimal for the growth of bacteria which is always present on the skin. Blepharitis could also be caused by repeated bouts of styes or chalazia. Seborrheic dermatitis of the face or scalp, rosacea, lice, and allergies are the common risk factors. Juniperus oxycedrus or Prickly Juniper or Prickly Cedar leaves extracts contains ingredients which are cidal to most of the microbes.Juniperus oxycedrus or Prickly Juniper or Prickly Cedar leaves extracts are a natural substitute for commonly used antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin,Erythromycin,Roxithromycin or Doxycycline. Juniperus oxycedrus or Prickly Juniper or Prickly Cedar leaves extracts can be used safely for the treatment of Blepharitis

Directions For Use: Take 10 to 15 needle shaped leaves of Juniperus oxycedrus or Prickly Juniper or Prickly Cedar and crush it.Boil the crushed mass in 250 ml of water for 30 minutes.Strain and drink 25 ml of this extract,twice daily for a week.The symptoms of Blepharitis is resolved in a week.

Not To Use With: No specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment.Juniperus oxycedrus or Prickly Juniper or Prickly Cedar leaves extracts is perfectly safe and is devoid of the usual adverse reactions seen with other antibiotics in the treatment of Blepharitis.
