Also called: Osteophytes
Bone spurs or osteophytes are bony projections that outgrow along the edges of bones. The bone spurs or osteophytes are not painful, but can rub against neighboring nerves and bones causing pain. Bone spur can happen any where on the bone but they are seen more on ligaments and tendons where they are joined with bones. Most Bone spur does not cause any symptoms. Some Bone spur can cause pain or loss of movement in the joints. The symptoms of Bone spur depend upon its location, e.g. bone spurs in the knee, the spine, the neck, the shoulder or the fingers can be very painful and restrict the free movement of the joints.
Causes of Bone spur include "Degenerative diseases like osteoarthritis". In osteoarthritis the cartridge in the joint is eroded. The cartridge tries to repair the eroded surface, creating new areas of bone along the edges of the existing bone.
Bone spurs are the hallmark of diseases and conditions, including "skeletal hyperostosis, plantar fasciitis, spondylosis, spinal stenosis". Bone spurs may be a normal part of aging. Bone spurs can also form on their own.

After an excessive
research I learned about Wheatgrass. And it seemed to work!
She passed through chemotherapy with ease. But was it the Wheatgrass?
And if it was, how come it was so hard to find out about it?"
