Name: Brandy

Description: Brandy is a short name for brandy wine. Brandy is made from grape wine. Most of the times, Brandy is consumed after dinner. Brandy contains about 40–60% ethyl alcohol by volume. Whenever the term brandy is used it only denotes to grape brandy, otherwise its specific type is specified a there are 3 types of Brandy. In previous times wine was purified as a preservation method. It was thought to be as a way to make the wine easier for merchants to transport. There are also certain types of fruit brandies, which are distilled from fruits other than grapes, for e.g. brandies made from Apples, raspberries, peaches and cherries etc.
