Description: Bronchitis is an inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes, the airways that connect the trachea (windpipe) to the lungs. he main symptom of bronchitis is a cough, which may bring up yellowy grey mucus. Bronchitis is also known as Acute Bronchitis and Bronchitis - acute. Bronchitis may also cause a sore throat, wheezing and a blocked nose. Acute bronchitis is usually caused by viruses, and it may occur together with or following a cold or other respiratory infection. Eyebright contains caffeic acid, that have slight antibacterial properties. Hence it treats Bronchitis. Eyebright is also known as Euphrasia, Euphrasia officinali and Euphrasy herb.
Directions For Use: Soak 4gm of dried Eyebright herb in a a cup of water for 10 minutes. Boil it. Strain and cool. Drink this tea once daily for a 2 weeks for the treatment of Bronchitis.
Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Eyebright in the treatment of Bronchitis.
Side Effects: No side effects are seen. As Eyebright is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Bronchitis.
Expected Results: The symptoms of Bronchitis are reduced in 2 weeks of the treatment with Eyebright.
