Description: Campylobacteriosis is a bacterial infection that affects the intestinal tract and, rarely, the bloodstream. It is probably the most common cause of bacterial diarrhea in New York State. Most cases are seen in the summer months and occur as single cases. Outbreaks are uncommon. Campylobacteriosis is also known as Waterborne - Campylobacteriosis and Campylobacter infection. Campylobacteriosis has probably been in existence for many years but has only recently been recognized as a common infection as a result of improved laboratory methods. Anyone can get Campylobacter infection. Campylobacter are generally spread by consumption of contaminated food or water and, occasionally, by contact with infected people or animals. Campylobacteriosis may cause mild or severe diarrhea, often with fever and traces of blood in the stool. Tulipwood (Harpullia) stem bark extracts contain potent microbicidal ingredients which are rapidly cidal for most gram positive and gram negative bacteria. The action is comparable to most broad spectrum antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin and Cefataxime. Hence Tulipwood is beneficial in the treatment of Campylobacteriosis.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 gms of Tulipwood (Harpullia) stem bark in a cup of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink the extracts, thrice daily for a week. The symptoms of Campylobacteriosis are resolved in a week.
