Description: A Carbuncle is defined as a large boil, filled with pus with an opening through which pus and fluids ooze out. It is a bacterial infection mostly caused by Staphylococcus aureus. Friction from clothing or shaving, generally poor hygiene and weakening of immunity are the common causes of Carbuncles.
