Capsicum is a plants from the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
Some of the members of Capsicum are used as spices, vegetables, and medicines. Capsicum fruits are commonly used in Italian cuisine to add flavour to various dishes, mainly meat, pasta or salads. There are sweet and hot variant.
From a medical point of view, chilli peppers, or hot peppers, have many effects in common with caffeine, without the drawbacks and factors of risk associated with caffeine.
Chilli peppers ease blood circulation dilating blood vessels and can be helpful in lowering cholesterol levels and are often used for cleaning the organism after excessive alcohol ingestion.
