Conditions Treated: Infectious Diseases

Specific Conditions Treated: Cold

Ingredients Used: Hymenodictyon parvifolium

Description: Acute viral rhinopharyngitis, or acute coryza, known as an upper respiratory virus, or commonly called a cold, is a contagious, viral infectious disease of the upper respiratory system, primarily caused by rhinoviruses, (picornaviruses) or coronaviruses. It is the most common infectious disease in humans; there is no known cure, but it is very rarely fatal. Collectively, colds, influenza, and other infections with similar symptoms are included in the diagnosis of influenza-like illness. Often, influenza and the common cold are mistaken for each other, even by professional healthcare workers, but most of the recommended home treatments (drinking plenty of warm fluids, keeping warm, etc.) are similar if not the same. The symptoms of influenza often include a fever and are more severe than the cold. Hymenodictyon parvifolium bark extract is a natural alternative for commonly used anti-biotics like Ciprofloxacin, Norfloxacin, Roxithromycin and Penicillin derivatives. Hymenodictyon parvifolium bark extract is devoid of the usual side effects associated with conventional anti-biotics like gastric irritation and resistance. Hymenodictyon parvifolium bark extract can be used with confidence to treat Common Cold.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms finely pulverized Hymenodictyon parvifolium bark in 500 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 15 ml of this extract thrice daily for a week. The symptoms of Common Cold are resolved in a week of treatment with Hymenodictyon parvifolium bark extracts.

Not To Use With: None are seen. Hymenodictyon parvifolium bark extract can be used with confidence in the treatment of Common Cold.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen when Hymenodictyon parvifolium bark extracts are used in the treatment of Common Cold.

Expected Results: Common Cold is resolved in a week of treatment with Hymenodictyon parvifolium bark extracts.

Expected Results Within: 1 week
