Description: Conjunctivitis is the inflammation of the conjunctiva, the tissue that lines the inside of the eyelid. It may be caused by any allergens, virus, bacteria or sexually transmitted diseases etc. It is also termed as "Pink Eye". Conjunctivitis is also known as Red Eye, Pinkeye and Madras Eye. As this is a highly contagious disease, so the patient should restrict his activities in common areas used by others. Agas-moro possess broader spectrum of antimicrobial activity. It is a natural alternative to antibiotics used for bacterial infections such as like penicillin, amoxycillin, Ciprofloxacin, Ofloxacin etc. Also the treatment with Agas-moro is relatively safer also as there are no any side effects associated with it in the treatment of Conjunctivitis. Agas-moro is also known as Vernonia cinerea, Bulabod, Kolong-kugon, Magmansi and Sahadevi.

Directions For Use: Take some aerial parts of Agas-moro. Dry and powder it. Take 1 teaspoon of this powder and boil in a cup of water. Filter it. Drink this tea twice daily for 3-4 days for the treatment of Conjunctivitis.

Not To Use With: No specific precaution needs to be followed while using Agas-moro in the treatment of Conjunctivitis.

Side Effects: As such no side effects are seen. As Agas-moro is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Conjunctivitis.

Expected Results: The symptoms of Conjunctivitis are resolved in 3-4 days of the treatment with Agas-moro.
