Ingredients Used: Amboyna wood

Description: Conjunctivitis, commonly known as pinkeye or Red Eye or Madras Eye , is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the clear membrane that covers the white part of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids. Conjunctivitis can be caused by infections (such as bacteria and viruses), allergies, or substances that irritate the eyes. Amboyna wood is found to contain broad spectrum antibacterial activity. Amboyna wood is a natural alternative to antibiotics used against bacterial infections such as like penicillin, amoxycillin, Ciprofloxacin, Ofloxacin etc. Also the treatment with Amboyna wood is relatively safer also as there are no any side effects associated with it. Amboyna wood is commonly known as Angsana, Andaman redwood, Burmese rosewood, Narra, Papua New Guinea rosewood, Philippine mahogany, Pashu Padauk or Malay Paduak and scientifically known as Pterocarpus indicus.

Directions For Use: Take stem barks of Amboyna wood. Dry and powder it. Take 1 teaspoon of this powder and boil in a cup of water. Filter it and drink Amboyna wood tea twice daily for 4 days, the symptoms of Conjunctivitis are resolved in 4-5 days.

Not To Use With: No specific precaution needs to be followed while using Amboyna wood bark tea to treat Conjunctivitis.

Side Effects: None are seen with Amboyna wood bark extract while treating Conjunctivitis.

Expected Results: The symptoms of Conjunctivitis are resolved in 4-5 days using Amboyna wood bark extract.
