Ingredients Used: Boric Acid

Description: Inflammation in the conjunctiva is termed as Conjunctivitis. Conjunctivitis is also known as Red Eye, Pinkeye and Madras Eye. It occur due to viral or bacterial infections. Other causes may include excessive strain to the eyes, allergies caused by foreign particles etc. It is a very distressing condition for the person as there is a continuous urge to rub the infected eye which can spread the infection to other eye also. Boric Acid cleans the eyes and soothes them. Boric Acid, also called boracic acid or orthoboric acid or Acidum Boricum.

Directions For Use: Put 1 table spoon of Boric Acid in a cup of boiling water. Allow to cool. Wash your eyes with this water thrice daily for 3 days. It cleans and sooths the eyes.

Not To Use With: As such there are no interactions. As Boric Acid is safe and well and well tolerated in the treatment of Conjunctivitis.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen. As Boric Acid is safe and well and well tolerated in the treatment of Conjunctivitis.
