Ingredients Used: Ethiopian pepper

Description: Conjunctivitis is also known as Red Eye, Pinkeye and Madras Eye. Conjunctivitis is an irritation or infectivity of the conjunctiva, the thin transparent layer of tissue that lines the inner surface of the eyelid and covers the white part of the eye. Conjunctivitis, often called “pink eye,” is a common eye disease, mainly in children. It may affect one or both eyes. Some forms of conjunctivitis can be highly contagious and easily spread in schools and at home. The fruits of Ethiopian pepper are as effective as common antibacterials like penicillin, amoxycillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones used for treating Conjunctivitis. They work in a similar way as these antibiotic drugs do. Ethiopian pepper is relatively safe also. Ethiopian pepper is also known as Xylopia aethiopica and Guinea pepper plant.

Directions For Use: Consume about half cup fruits of Ethiopian pepper twice daily for about 4 days. The fruits essential oil of Ethiopian pepper possess antibacterial action, thus treats Conjunctivitis.

Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Ethiopian pepper in the treatment of Conjunctivitis.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen. As Ethiopian pepper is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Conjunctivitis.

Expected Results: The symptoms of Conjunctivitis have shown to be resolved in 4 days of the treatment with Ethiopian pepper.
