Description: Acalypha wilkesiana is popularly known as Copperleaf, Joseph's coat, Fire-dragon and match-me-if-you-can. It belongs to the family Euphorbiaceae (spurge). It is native to Fiji and nearby islands in the South Pacific. Copperleaf spreads from tropical and subtropical regions that can reach a height of 6 feet. It is grown as a houseplant or as an annual outdoors where it's not hardy. Copperleaf has oval leaves that are splashed with red, green, and yellow and its long, fuzzy flowers are borne periodically throughout the year, although they are somewhat hidden.
