Name: Cucumber

Other Names: Cucumis sativus, Cucurbita

Description: Cucumber/ Cucurbita/ Cucumis sativus is a very good moisturizer and helps in preventing scaling and chipping of skin. Cucumber also contains alkaloids, which regulates the production of dead skin. Cucumber is also a good sunscreen preventing sunburns and hyper-pigmentation of the skin. Cucumber also has potent anti- fungal and antibacterial properties. Cucumber juice can be used for chapping and scaling of skin and in other skin ailments like Kawasaki Disease.
