Conditions Treated: Urology

Specific Conditions Treated: Cystitis

Ingredients Used: Champa

Description: Cystitis is a common condition where the lining of the bladder becomes inflamed and makes urinating painful. Cystitis is also known as Urinary Tract Infection, UTI, Cystitis and Bladder Inflammation. Infection from intestinal bacteria is by far the most frequent cause of cystitis, especially among women, who have a very short urethra (the tube through which the urine passes from the bladder to the outside). Champa is found to possess broad spectrum antibacterial activity. It is a natural alternative to antibiotics used against bacterial infections such as like penicillin, amoxycillin, Ciprofloxacin, Ofloxacin etc. Also the treatment with Champa is relatively safer also as there are no any side effects associated with it in the treatment of Cystitis. Champa is also known as Michelia champaca, champaka, champak, champac, sampige and shamba.

Directions For Use: Take some leaves of Champa. Dry and powder it. Take 1 teaspoon of this powder and boil in a cup of water. Filter it. Drink this tea twice daily for 4 days for the treatment of Cystitis.

Not To Use With: No specific precaution needs to be followed while using Champa in the treatment of Cystitis.

Side Effects: None are seen. As Champa leaves are safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Cystitis.

Expected Results: The symptoms of Cystitis are resolved in 4-5 days of the treatment with Champa leaves.

Expected Results Within: 4 days
