Ingredients Used: Acokanthera schimperi

Description: Diphtheria is a bacterial infection in the upper respiratory tract. Typically it is characterized by sore throat, swollen neck glands, high temperature and breathing difficulties. Diphtheria is caused by a pathogenic (disease causing) bacterium Corynebacterium diphtheriae (C. diphtheriae). This bacterium multiplies rapidly spreading through the upper respiratory tract where it causes inflammation. In more serious cases C. diphtheriae produces a toxin which can enter the blood stream to involve the heart, brain and nerves. Diphtheria has an incubation period of 2-5 days (symptoms will show 2-5 days after the bacteria infect a person), and in some cases up to 10 days. Onset is slow, after which the disease develops rapidly. Acokanthera schimperi aerial parts extract is a natural alternative for commonly used anti-biotics like Ciprofloxacin, Norfloxacin, Roxithromycin and Penicillin derivatives. Acokanthera schimperi aerial parts extract is devoid of the usual side effects associated with conventional anti-biotics like gastric irritation and resistance. Acokanthera schimperi aerial parts extract can be used with confidence to treat Diphtheria.

Directions For Use: Boil 50 Gms of finely pulverized Acokanthera schimperi aerial parts in 500 ml of water for 30 minutes. Strain and drink 15 ml of this extract thrice daily for a week. The symptoms of Diphtheria are resolved in a week of treatment with Acokanthera schimperi aerial parts extracts.
