Also called: Skin Disorder, Xerosis

Dry Skin or Xerosis is very unsightly and causes a lot of distress and depression. The epidermal cells become shriveled and create fine lines and wrinkles. Some skin conditions are caused by inherited group of disorders. Dry skins are caused by dry weather conditions which rob the moisture from the skin. These include: “Exposure to hot or cold weather with low humidity levels, long-term use of air conditioning or central heating, and excessive bathing”. Severe dry conditions can be treated by seeking medical help. But a lot can be done at home to reduce dry skin conditions.
