Description: Myringitis or Bullous myringitis is an infectious disease of the ear. Mycoplasma is the causative agent. The ear drum becomes inflamed due to the bacterial infection. Fluid filled vesicles are formed on the ear drum. Pain can start immediately and last up to one to two days. An otoscopy is done to confirm Myringitis. The vesicles are incised to relieve pain. Myringitis is always associated with otitis media.Infectious myringitis is usually treated with antibiotics. If the pain is severe, the blisters may be lanced and pain-killing drugs may be prescribed. Marigold leaves extracts are as effective as common anti-bacterial like penicillin, amoxicillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones. The mode of action and efficacy of the treatment is similar to other conventional treatments. Also there are no any side effects associated with this remedy in the treatment of Myringitis or Bullous myringitis. Marigold is also known as Marigold.
Directions For Use: Crush 5 to 8 Marigold leaves into a fine paste. Boil this paste in a 250 ml of water for 15 minutes. Strain and take 15 ml of this extract twice daily for a week. The symptoms of Myringitis or Bullous myringitis will be relieved in a week of treatment with Marigold leaves extracts also known as Marigold.
Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Marigold leaves extracts in the treatment of Myringitis or Bullous myringitis.
Side Effects: None are seen. As Marigold leaves extracts are safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Myringitis or Bullous myringitis.
Expected Results: The symptoms of Myringitis or Bullous myringitis have shown to be resolved in a week of the treatment with Marigold leaves extracts.
