Conditions Treated: Blood

Specific Conditions Treated: Edema

Ingredients Used: Blackcurrant

Description: Edema or Oedema means swelling in the small spaces that surround the body tissues and organs. Edema can occur nearly anywhere in the body. Edema happens most often in the feet, ankles, and legs. The characterized symptoms of Oedema are:
1) The skin over the swollen area might look stretched and shiny.
2) Pushing in gently on the swollen area with the finger for about 10 to 15 seconds and then removing the finger will leave a dimple in the skin.
The anti-inflammatory properties of Blackcurrant or French cassis leaves due to its capability of stimulating the production of prostaglandin-1, an anti-inflammatory hormone is helpful in resolving Edema.

Directions For Use: Take some leaves of Blackcurrant or French cassis. Make a fine paste of these leaves by adding some drops of water. Apply this Blackcurrant or French cassis leaves paste directly over the affected area twice daily for a week for effective treatment of Edema.

Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment. Blackcurrant or French cassis leaves extract is as effective as other anti inflammatory topical ointments.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen. Blackcurrant or French cassis can be used with confidence for treating Edema.

Expected Results: Application of Blackcurrant or French cassis leaves paste resolves the symptoms of Edema in a week.

Expected Results Within: 1 week
