Ingredients Used: Wood Blewit

Description: Erysipelas is a type of cellulites (skin infection) generally caused by group A Streptococcus bacteria. Erysipelas may affect both children and adults. The risk factors associated with this infection include a cut in the skin, skin ulcers, and problems with the drainage through the veins or lymph system. In the past, the face was most commonly involved site of infection, yet now accounts for only up to 20% of cases. The legs are affected in up to 80% of cases. The leaves and roots of Wood Blewit were as effective as common antibacterials like penicillin, amoxycillin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, Genticyn or Fluoroquinolones used to treat Erysipelas. They work in a similar way as these antibiotic drugs. Also there is no any side effects associated with them. Hence Wood Blewit is called as a natural alternative to above mentioned antibiotic drugs available over the counter. Wood Blewit is also known as Lepista nuda, Clitocybe nuda and Blewit.

Directions For Use: A powder is prepared with leaves and roots of Wood Blewit. One teaspoon of this powder is then boiled in a cup of of water for about 10 min. Then strain and cool it. Drink this tea thrice daily for 3 days. The antibacterial property of leaves and roots will come in the tea, thus treats Erysipelas.

Not To Use With: As such no specific precaution needs to be followed while using Wood Blewit in the treatment of Erysipelas.

Side Effects: None are seen. As Wood Blewit is safe and well tolerated in the treatment of Erysipelas.

Expected Results: The symptoms of Erysipelas have shown to be resolved in 3 days of the treatment with Wood Blewit.
