Ingredients Used: Acer truncatum

Description: Fifth Disease or Erythema Infectiosum is a viral infection which is caused by parvovirus B19. Fifth Disease or Erythema Infectiosum is seen mostly in children. The symptoms of the disease include "Low fever, cold symptoms and a red rash on the cheeks, arms, legs and trunk". The rashes on the face looks like slap marks and hence the name Slapped Face or Slapped Cheek Syndrome. Fifth Disease can be seen in adults also. The disease is contagious and is spread by saliva or mucus. People develop immunity against the disease after they have it once. Fifth disease is usually mild and goes away on its own. However, it can be serious if you are pregnant, anemic or have cancer or a weak immune system. Acer truncatum leaves extracts are a natural alternative for commonly used anti-biotics like Ciprofloxacin, Norfloxacin, Roxithromycin and Penicillin derivatives. Acer truncatum leaves extracts are devoid of the usual side effects associated with conventional anti-biotics like gastric irritation and resistance. Acer truncatum leaves extract can be used with confidence to treat Erythema Infectiosum.

Directions For Use: Boil 5 to 8 Acer truncatum leaves in 250 ml of water. Strain and drink 15 ml of this filtrate thrice daily for a week. The symptoms of Erythema Infectiosum are resolved in a week of treatment with Acer truncatum leaves extracts.

Not To Use With: No specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment. Acer truncatum leaves extract is perfectly safe and is devoid of the usual adverse reactions seen with other antibiotics in the treatment of Erythema Infectiosum.
