Description: Eye Stye is caused due to bacterial infection in the eyelids. Eye Stye is also known as Hordeolum. The causative pathogen is Staphylococcus aureus. Eye Sties are of 2 types:
1. Internal: It occurs in the inside of eyelid.
2. External: it occurs in the outside of eyelid.
This condition is very often seen in children. The physical appearance of Eye Stye is like a red bump on the upper or lower eyelid. It is very painful and tender. Aloe Vera is an effective treatment for Eye Stye, as it possess healing properties. Aloe Vera is also known as Aloe, Aloe Vera Juice and Indian Aloe.
Directions For Use: Lengthwise cut an Aloe Vera leaf and put the pulpy side of the leaf on the Eye Stye. Repeat this process 3- 4 times daily for 2 days.
