Ingredients Used: Cloves

Description: A stye is an infection of the sebaceous glands at the base of the eyelashes. Eye Stye is also called as Hordeolum. While they produce no lasting damage, they can be quite painful. The eyes become swollen and the movement of the eyelids become gritty. Eye Stye are generally caused by a Staphylococcus bacteria infection and are particularly common in infants, though people of any age may experience them. They can be triggered by stress or poor nutrition. Applying clove oil on the eyelids not only relieves the pain but also resolves the bacterial infection by its anti-bacterial action. The treatment should be continued for a week. Cloves are also termed as Lavang, Syzygium aromaticum, Eugenia aromaticum and Eugenia caryophyllata.

Directions For Use: Apply Cloves oil on the affected eye. Applying Cloves oil on the eyelids not only relieves the pain but also resolves the bacterial infection by its anti-bacterial action. The treatment should be continued for a week. The condition is resolved in a week.
