Greater plantain, Plantago major, belongs to the family Plantaginaceae. It's native to Europe and northern and central Asia, although now it could be found in many places around the world; very common in roadsides, paths...frequently as a weed.
Leaves simple, alternate. Flowers small grouped in a dense spike on top of a stem.
