I have read elsewhere that licorice can cause skin lightening. Would this not affect the skin tone as well?
I shave my head and would not like to have varying degrees complexion on my face and head. Could those who this might have helped, can you please comment?
Thank you.

A bit of change in complexion is bound to be there since the distribution of melanin is different on the face and the scalp. If you are naturally bald the tone will be the same. Since you shave your head therefore the tone of the skin on your scalp will be different.

I will give it a shot. If my hair grows back and my scalp is completely covered then I suppose the difference in complexion would not matter - LOL!
Will post here again after about a month's trial and let you know how it goes.
