Ingredients Used: Neem

Description: The HeadLice (Pediculus humanus capitis) is a parasitic insect spending its entire life on human scalp and feeding exclusively on blood. Humans are the only known host of this parasite. The most characteristic symptom of infestation is pruritus on the head which normally intensifies 3 to 4 weeks after the initial infestation. HeadLice is also known as Pediculosis and Lice. Neem oil is very beneficial in treating HeadLice. Neem oil not only kills the lice but also prevents re-infections by destroying the eggs of the lice. Neem is also termed as Azadirachta indica and Margosa.

Directions For Use: Apply Neem oil on the hair and leave it in the hair for two hours before washing. The treatment should be repeated every day for a fortnight. The HeadLice infection is resolved in a fortnight.

Not To Use With: No specific precaution needs to be followed while using this treatment. Neem is safe and can be used with full confidence for treating HeadLice.
