Ingredients Used: Petroleum jelly, Greater Plantain
Description: Hemorrhoids could be very painful. Greater plantain is a good remedy for this condition since it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties and will help in the healing of anal fissures.
You will need a handful of leaves. Wash them very well. Crush them until you get at least one tablespoon of juice. Mix it well with 2 or 3 tablespoons of petroleum jelly until you obtain an ointment.
In the past this remedy was made with lard or other animal fat instead of petroleum jelly.
Directions For Use: Apply the ointment directly to the affected area twice a day: in the morning and at night. Repeat the application daily for at least one month.
Expected Results: Symptoms will be relieved.
