Ingredients Used: Golden Root

Description: Insomnia affects all age groups. Among adults, Insomnia affects women more often than men. The incidence tends to increase with age. Insomnia is typically more common in people in lower socioeconomic (income) groups, chronic alcoholics, and mental health patients. Stress most commonly triggers short-term or acute Insomnia. Golden Root is used in the world for decades to alleviate everyday anxiety, depression, and Insomnia. Ambien or other allopathic drug can cause side effects that may impair thinking or reactions. You may still feel sleepy the morning after taking the medication. "Thus Golden Root is a natural alternative to Ambien without any side effects." Golden Root is also known as Rhodiola rosea or Roseroot.

Directions For Use: Take roots of Golden Root. Dry and powder. Take 1 teaspoon of this powder and boil in a cup of water. Filter it. Drink this tea before going to sleep at night for a week. Golden Root will regularize sleep and Insomnia will be resolved.

Not To Use With: As such no interactions are seen with Golden Root; therefore no specific precaution needs to be followed while using this herb to treat Insomnia.

Side Effects: No side effects are seen with Golden Root while treating Insomnia.

Actually, Rhodiola is considered to act upon your body like a stimulant, to increase energy. It is not recommended to take it right before sleep and will actually interfere with sleep if you do.

Please see the description of Rhodiola rosea "Rhodiola rosea's effects are attributed to its ability to optimise serotonin and dopamine levels, due to monoamine oxidase inhibition and to its influence on opioid peptides such as beta-endorphins.Substances like these are referred to as adaptogens. They differ from stimulants, and do not have the same health consequences as nicotine, etc." Rhodiola rosea is an adaptogen. Most insomnia is caused by depression and fatigue.Rhodiola rosea does exactly this.Still if the user still suffers from sleep disturbance the dosage can be tittered so that the third dosage is taken a few hours before going to bed.
