Conditions Treated: Eyes

Specific Conditions Treated: Lazy Eye, Inflammation of the Eyelids, Conjunctivitis, Itchy Eyes

Ingredients Used: Exercise, Eyebright

Description: Modern way of living, too much eye fixation, computer and TV screen, extensive reading and studies all add to great increase of these symptoms in a modern man. If you wear contact lenses or are aged or pregnant, you are more likely to experience these problems. Also, women tend to suffer more from these problems than men. Here are some super efficient and helpful natural remedies:

1. Exercise:

Stand up straight, relax your body, arms down, feet slightly spread. Play some relaxing meditation music. Move your eyes slowly in circle (making sure the rest of the body is still and doesn’t move, just move your eyes!), clock-wise, as if you were drawing a big circle with your eyes. Make sure the radius of this imaginary circle is as big as possible. Do it SLOWLY. Make 5 circles, then a short break, then change the direction and go the opposite way, anti – clockwise (for 5 times). When finished, close your eyes and relax. Rub the palms of your hands against each other and press hard until they get hot. Then put hot palms on your eyes. Keep the palms at the length of half inch from your eyes. The eyes are open watching the palm surface at close length. Keep them on the eyes for several minutes until they cool off. Then rub palms again hard, make them hot (this is natural electricity, warmth and bio energy coming from your body into your palms), and then place hot palms on the eyes again. Repeat the palm treatment 3 times. At the end, lie on your back, your palms out, your feet slightly spread, close your eyes and relax for about 5 minutes. The entire exercise lasts for 15 minutes, you can do it anywhere, while at work, at home, on the beach, and not only does it refresh your eyes, but also your mind, memory and nerves. You will find yourself sleeping much better at night.

2. For local application:

Put 1-2 teaspoons of dried Euphrasy herb in ½ liter of water and let it brew (boil) for 10 minutes. Then move the tea off the stove and wait until it gets lukewarm. Filter the tea, and throw away the herb. Take a sterile cloth or cotton wool, soak it up with the tea, wring it out and keep it on your eyes for 15 minutes, several times a day. Prepare fresh tea each day.

Euphrasy is also known as 'eyebright', because it is believed to help maintainance of bright eye-sight and good eye health. Latin name is Euphrasia officinalis.

Directions For Use: Do the exercise once daily, or whenever you feel your eyes are tense or under pressure ( e.g. after long readings, watching TV etc).

Not To Use With: Do not use Euphrasy orally,as it treats other health problems when taken orally> stuffed nose, cough, cold, sinusitis or allergies, but I will write about that under another category.

Side Effects: Rarely, Euphrasy can cause rash and if that happens, cease the usage immediately.

Expected Results: Highly efficient. Results prompt, concrete and evident. Immediate relief.

Expected Results Within: Immediately
